Kallisthenes (sochár)

Kallisthenes alebo Kallisthenés (starogr. Καλλισθένης – Kallisthenés) bol grécky sochár v 3. storočí pred Kr.^[1]^[2]

Kallisthenes, sochár z atického dému Sféttos, bol činný v 3. storočí pred Kr. Svedectvom niekdajšej tvorby tohto sochára je na aténskej agore objavený mramorový podstavec zo sochy s jeho signatúrou:

Καλλισθένης Ͻ Σφήττιος ἐποίει

preklad: Kallisthenes Ͻ zo Sféttu zhotovil.
