Yonkers je štvrté najväčšie mesto v americkom štáte New York (po mestách New York, Buffalo, a Rochester) a najväčšie mesto vo Westchester County s počtom obyvateľov do 200 000. Hraničí s Bronxom, štvrťou mesta New York a nachádza sa len 3 km severne od Manhattanu.
